During this time over 40 non-commissioned officers were instructed on the use of several social media platforms for marketing, targeting, and prospecting potential applicants. Through SFC Payne’s instruction, all NCO’s left the training fully trained and educated. This training, in turn, has led to increased enlistments for the battalion.”

Steven is without a doubt the subject matter expert on the use of social media to influence outreach and customer interest. He is the go to guy within our command and has supported multiple subordinate organizations with tailored initiatives to better utilize social media to meet their goals. His support ranges from consulting on specific issues to creating and delivering general training packages on how to the make the most of social media platforms in support of our operations. He has also inspired and influenced outside organizations both within the Department of Defense and internationally to build, improve and make efficient use of social media campaigns. I would want him on my team if I was planning out any social media engagement strategies.
