Are you having trouble selling your product, recruit or lower production than normal?
Have you looked at your employees and managers (leaders) lately?

If you have not you might want to! We all want to reach our goals and outcomes we have determined earlier in our annual planning. If our employees are not happy being at work than we cannot expect their production to meet these goals.

Making your employees happy is not babying them, but more nurturing them. We need to listen to our employees and genuinely care for their well being. They are not the “work horse.” We are the work horse. The hours of operation will not determine productivity besides negatively. The moment we make people work past a certain time or lay on their plate last minute tasking we must understand they will get their time back. Unfortunately they typically get their time back when we(leaders/managers) don’t want them to, in the middle of the day!

I truly hope we will learn from our previous mistakes and start changing the culture in our businesses. I’m afraid if we don’t we will lose which no one likes to lose right.
